Everything but the Spit or Hurri (but we know people who have those)
A display aimed at explaining the preparation behind a tactical strike in 1943/44 and the price paid by RAF Aircrews
A representation of one of - Britains "Castles in the Sky" that gave us advance warning of incoming threats in 1940
WW2RAF Group secured Heritage Lottery Fund support for a box van trailer in 2011. During the subsequent years of displaying we have taken voluntary collections from those viewing our displays with a total that well exceeds the grant given. We have most recently donated to Help for Heroes, the Midlands Air Ambulance (again) to the memorial trusts for both the Battle of Britain and Bomber Command and to the RAF Charitable Trust. We are now repaying the HLFs investment in us with interest.

WW2RAF Group members all belong to Worcester Re-Enactors, a multi period society dedicated to providing education via "living history" throughout the ages.
We do not profess to have everything "right" but we do have a lot of experience in our own field and we have undertaken much research.
We have put together one or two information sheets that we hope will be of some help. If you have any questions please keep them sensible/short as we all have limited time, but do ask. .We will do what we can to help anyone with similar interests, wherever they are in the world and if you have something constructive to offer, we will receive you with open arms.
The information on the sheets downloadable from our site is provided for your personal use, not for publication or distribution (unless you want to give us a donation of course!).
The information is given without any guarantees. Use it at your own risk. Don't try sueing us if it all goes rather pear-shaped because we have excercised the best care we can in providing it and life is not without idiots, sorry, risk.
WE CAN PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL AND ENTERTAINING TALKS ON A NUMBER OF SUBJECTS RELATED TO THE DISPLAYS THAT WE PRESENT
We can also provide small "cameo" one or two person displays in addition to the larger ones detailed above. We principally operate in the Midlands Region, including Worcestershire, Shropshire and Gloucestershire but can travel further afield funding permitting.
Thank You RAF Wittering
Many thanks to all at RAF Wittering for making us warmly welcome on your Families Day 2018.
We had a great time (despite the weather when packing up). We received some good feedback and it was great to be able to do the complete display, including the backdrop film, in really good surroundings.
Very pleased to hand over the cheque to our hosts SSAFA.
5th May - Shuttleworth Collection (Chain Home)
8th June - Newport Pagnell (Chain Home)
9th June - Cosford Airshow (Dispersal)
10th/11th August - Spetchley Park M5 (Briefing - TBC)
14th September - Bentley Priory (Ops Room)
October (Date to be confirmed) RAF Fauld Remembrance Event.
The Battle of Britain Ops Room needs about 10m in width and double that in length to account for the audience as well as the display. A stable 240v power supply and isolation from external noise is also necessary.
75th Anniversary 617 Sqn Dambusters Raid
To coincide with this Anniversary on the 17th May 2018 the Royal Albert Hall is hosted an event which included the premiere of the re-mastered film.
We were pleased to support the media coverage for this event on the 26th February 2018
